So my daughter wa**** by a truck...

My daughter was walking back to her office after lunch Monday and wa**** by a pickup as she walked across the crosswalk. Thankfully someone in the truck saw her first and yelled for the driver to stop. She was knocked over and is sore but fine. The ironic part is she works at a huge hospital so it took no time at all to get medical attention.

The scary part for me...I was on the phone with her when it happened. One minute she is talking and the next I hear her scream and rustling noises and then a man saying "OMG, OMG, are you OK?" I'm yelling her name asking what happened then the phone went dead. So if any of you see any new pics of me you will know why I have aged 10 years.

The great news? She went for a followup the next day with the WL surgeon and has lost 25 lbs since April 15. I am so proud of her. She is gonna ROCK her sleeve. She gets her determination from her Mom!

I know. It is crazy isn't it? When she first told me she had been hit I asked how badly her car was damaged. She says "No Mom, I wa****!"

Same thing with her husband, who happens to work at the same hospital. When he finds her in the parking lot he kept asking her where her car was, wondering why the truck didn't have any damage, and she was being put in an ambulance, but her car was nowhere to be seen!
