I realize that everyone is different, that being said, how long out before you tried salad? Who would have thought that you'd get hungry for salad???

It was one of the first foods I ate when I got to solids. Raw veggies didn't work but lettuce and dressing did.

I am almost three months out and have been eating salad.  I use the finely chopped lettuce you would use on a taco.  I have chopped tomatoes and avacado, and artichoke hearts with it.  I use a couple sprays of dressing and lots of lime juice.  I love my little salad, I was always a big salad eater.  Of course I eat my protein first but I still have some salad.

I began to eat salads at about 3 months out.

Probably several months out - just go slow when you do and chew it up much more than you would others...I know some people that had it lay on the bottom of tummy and didn't go so well! Its trial & error.

I waited until 3 months out. Per my guidelines, we weren't allowed to have raw fruits/veggies until the 3 month mark. I did have a few bites of watermelon the mushy stage because I knew that it would be mainly water.

I'm a lettuce snob, and have to have great quality/varieties of lettuce. Iceberg and romaine just don't cut it for me.

Me too! Me TOO! big lettuce snob here.  Can't stand that iceberg crap.  Love my spring greens mix, and spinach too.  I am so glad somebody asked this question, cause I do love me some salads.

Me three!!

Glad you asked that question.. I'd been wondering about that.    I remember the Dr. mentioning something about the lettuce laying over something... so hadn't ventured to try it.   I think later I'll send an email and ask what it was he said.
