non fat greek yogurt - yum!
I found this stuff in the commissary the other day and it's soooo good and it's fat free! It's about as thick as cream cheese though. Rich and creamy. And really high in protein - 14 grams!
I was wondering if anybody else has tried it or heard of it because it's so rich and creamy, even though it's fat free maybe I shouldn't be eating it at this stage?

Dannon light and fit is a great fat free yogurt made with artificial sweetners. It was recommended to me by the ladies in my group. I like it too, if your looking for one with really low sugar content. And it has about 7g protein per serving.
The greek yogurt isn't sugar free. It has fruit on the bottom as well. Which probably means I need to keep away from it for now. But I really like creamy and this stuff is so rich it's just divine!

I don't know which brand you found..I was eating Chobani with fruit for a while..but then found Fage 0% which is amazing..I buy the plain..toss in some frozen fruit..ie raspberries or blueberries, or fresh strawberries....a packet of Splenda and it is amazing...high protein, 0 fat, low low carbs. Better than anything else I've found out there~

Yes! Chobani! That's the stuff. I just don't eat the bottom layer of fruit because it looks pretty sugary. I will double check for the plain. Great. I was starting to think that I had ventured into the wilderness and was eating "forbidden fruit". I just wanted to double check that it is fat free and that it's a good choice for sleevers. Thank you!
I love greek yogurt too. I eat Chobani or Fage -- I love the idea of adding frozen fruit to Fage with splenda...genius! I have to watch the carbs in the Chobani and flavored Fage yogurt because each one can be somewhere between 18 to 20 g of carbs, definitely something to be mindful of if you are trying to stay around 30-50 carbs per day. The protein count is great, however!
I love Greek yogurt . I have been eating it for breakfast for almost 6 months ! I'm 8.5 months out! It was one of the fist soft foods I had. Somethings to remember... !. Make sure it is the plain stuff! not vanilla, or flavored or sugar free, or even light! they all have more carbs and less protein! 2. There are many types out there Fage, dannon, etc. they should all be less than 100 cal.for fat free( 2% is about 130 cal!) per serving and 14-17 grams of protein and 8-11 carbs!. The fage ( pronounced fa-yeh!) is my favorite, it is strained so it has a thicker consistancy, it is good as a dip! (instead of sour cream!) I like it with any flavor of crystal light or store brand powdered diet drink mix with fresh fuit . I love the fage with 1/2 a packet of lemonade C.L. and a handful of blueberries ! Try it you will not think it is a "diet" food. A great way to start the day, 110 cals, + calcium, probiotics. fiber, antioxidans, vitamins (from the fruit) and 15 grams of protein! BTW I'm 205 lbs down at 8.5 months! Eat that yogurt!
