Wierd stomach noises after VSG...

 I had my VSG Oct 11th.  Ever since, every time I drink liquids (im on a liquid diet) my stomach makes all kinds of gurgling & growling sounds (VERY embarrassing!!).  Does anyone else have this issue, and if so, when can i expect this to go away??

I did a thread on this very thing today ...its on page two i think....i make all kinds of noises...usually rite after the sharp pain then the noises......there were some ppl that commenting....sayin itta go away...i hope soon its embarrassing....ill just be talkin and outta my mouth will come noises....from nowhere...lol

 That's exactly what mine does!! I have a pain, then it growls really loud. I work in a quiet office & everyone hears it...I want to hide under my desk.

Hmmmm   mine does not, and i was very concerned about this due to my work. I've heard   w other WLS there are lotsa gurgling and digestive noises, but not so much with the sleeve.  Perhaps bc it is just a few weeks out for you and new tummy is getting used to things, hopefully it will calm down with more time.

I had my surgery in July and my stomach still makes noises!!  ARGH!  I'm still doing low carb; high protein diet, but when I sneak in some carbs (usually rice or pasta), my tummy quiets down.  I know this isn't the best for me now, so I will make every excuse in the world for my sound effects (my phone, the dog, I'm hungry, etc...)

Yep, I was sleeved three days after you and my stomach makes crazy noises when I drink. I wonder if it will continue when we move off the liquid diet?

Just wanted to say that it is almost its own symphony in there right now!   LOL   It is amazing the gurgles going on...   seems loud to me but my husband said he hasnt heard much so it is louder "inside" than "outside"   LOL   I hope it quiets down some!   :-)   Amy

I am eleven months out and my tummy still makes the most amazing noises!  It usually starts right after I start to eat - it is like it is singing about the food.  Maybe it thinks it has to sing for it's supper? 

i gurgle like crazy....  i chalk it up to being full and being unable to burp.....  small price to pay if you ask me...

YES! Happened to me like the first 6 months. It was never physically uncomfortable just embarassing...

It went away, too. Poof, gone. No mas. I think its just you lil sleeve getting used to itself, but there is hope on the horizon :)
