Did your hunger ever go away?
Well the shrimp I weighed while frozen so maybe it was different after thawed.....I didn't check. But yeah, I finished it all. :( no problem.
And the grilled chicken I ate over the span of over an hour. I just kinda picked away at it.
And today I ate 2 cheese sticks because the first one didn't do it for me. Maybe it just slides through to quickly?
I definitely feel restriction but it seems I can eat more then others......which makes me a bit concerned.
I would say yes, frozen shrimp and unfrozen are going to be different because there still will be condensation that thaws off.
And the eating over a span of an hour is nearly sure to have you already having digested some before the rest shuttles in. For me, eating over a period of time is a sure fire way of eating more.
Now, if/when you really need to get in more calories its handy to know that is possible - but if you are hongries, that could be a culprit!
I think the eating over time is definitely a culprit of your perception of eating more than others girlie!! Also too, remember, some of us, for whatever reason (being tall, just being anatomically freaky :} ) will have LONGER stomach than others, so while they may be the same diameter, they are not the same length! So, really, do not concern yourself with that right now - and later if it really is a concern, there are always ways of tweaking your WHAT you eat, so you can get more volume and control your calories. *chuckle* That is one handy dandy thing about having been on every diet in the book, creative calorie budgeting knowledge. :}
For me, and just for me, something I have focused on was training my tum that SOME WAS ENOUGH. Telling me, there will be more of that later, just have some now, and soon (because I do eat by the clock) there will be more!!
Especially at first, when my hunger signals were wonked out - eating by the clock helped me to not ruminate on my levels of fullness. Some was enough, and more was coming later!!

We should take between 20 to 40 minutes to eat. It's not until 20 minutes that we get our 'full' signal and, after 40 it's too easy to graze as the food we've already eaten digests. So it's definitely a way to eat more without TRYING to eat more.
Depending on the day I can eat two cheese sticks. It really just depends on what else I've had so, I wouldn't worry tooooo much there. I have tons of restriction but, I swear my stomach changes daily on what it will and will not hold.

I'm having a similar frustration, Mittens! (And note my surgery date). I think what my surgeon did was very smart: we are to have 6 small meals throughout the day. I guess some could call this grazing, but I think of it as retraining our heads/bodies to keep things (like glucose, etc.) on an even keel. I also feel stomach growing feelings, but somehow it's not quite like hunger, but it IS just as intense.
Anyway I eat small sized "meals" or have a shake at about 8, 11, 2, 4, 7 and something before bed ...

Small planned meals throughout the day are not grazing girlie. Grazing is thoughtless munching that had not been accounted for previously, and tends to go unaccounted for until someone says OH LAWS! CANNOT FIT IN PANTS!!
A handful of this here, just one or two of those there.. oh I should have that, so maybe just a bite, lick the knife after you make someone a sammich, well just a piece of cheese...
That's a grazing sort of pattern.

Anytime babygirl! Anything I can do to be helpful, I am glad to do.
And - I think the sense of humor is the overflow of the curse of being an only child - I crack me up and sometimes, folks are just twisted in the same places I am.
Lucky for us! And the others? Well, they probably just block my chattyazz.
