i have not tried them yet! but, i have not found a problem with anything i have tried to eat as long as i ate slowly and chewed it well.

i think the only things that felt like that sat longer was hard boiled egg, i have not tried scrambled yet

Deep fried mozzarell sticks!!! are you mad???
Cheese = high fat
Deep fried in FAT
we are supposed to be getting thin
Nothing tastes as good as thin feels that is what I am telling myself when I put the fuel into my system

 They sit like that for me to and pizza. If I eat sausage i am in the bathroom right away. Now that i have my gallbladder out I can not eat any hot cheese or deep frayed foods they make me so sick.
My surgeon gave me the tool. Now it is up to me to use it right.

yeah, i know how bad a choice it was -- i was just on a wild weekend away (not that wild, but . . .) and, you know, kind of experimenting.  never again!  ;-)

Dont feel bad for it girl! I eat perfectly on plan most of the time but like you I was out of town and come on this is real life! We need some things here and there. If you are eating mass amounts and bad foods all the time I see an issue but we have a whole life time to live and for me perfection is finding a balance.

OH I hear you there...I love cheese sticks and have done the same thing with them but the pain gets to bad and I have to get rid of them to relieve the pressure in my chest and the pain.

1 deep fried cheese stick isn't going to magically make you gain 40lbs back. Fat is not the enemy here. I'm not advocating eating cheese sticks every day, but for the love of everything HOLY please don't think it's a "bad" choice. It wasn't the best, but did you have surgery to be normal, eat things in moderation, or deprive yourself for the rest of your life?

Now that I'm done ranting (and apologize if it offends anyone), just because it doesn't work right now doesn't it mean having a cheese stick is forever a no no. I couldn't eat scrambled eggs for 20 months out of my 21 months post-VSG. Well guess what, scrambled eggs work now. It's trial and error, and even though deep fried anything isn't the "best", 1 cheese stick didn't make me fat.

I totally agree with USAF Wife.  Most people choose this surgery out of th others so that they are able to still eat some of the things they love.  Please people, do not criticize someone for eating 1 cheese stick.
