4 months out and Exhausted all the time!!
I was sleeved in November and had no real problems, I have been a slow but steady loser all along. In the last few weeks however I feel tired ALL THE TIME! The only time I feel ok is right when I wake up in the morning but it is all down hill from there. Has anyone else experienced this? I don't know what to do it is getting to the point of almost not being able to function.
I would ask my doctor to run some labs. You may be deficient in some nutrients or you may possibly have an issue with your thyroid. That's where I would start.
Are you exercising? As much as it may seem impossible to do, perhaps the increase in oxygen/better circulation from the exercise may help with the fatigue?
Best wishes...I hope you feel better soon.

I am only a month out,but I am also feeling really tired.I sleep 10 hours a night and then nap for a couple every afternoon.I have only left the house a few times and have no energy for anything.I am taking my vitamens,do ok with the water, protien not so much but I am trying,I am supposed to go back to work April 11th and cant imagine having to.I was never sedentary so this lack of energy is new to me.I don't know what to do.I mentioned it last week and the doc said you had major surgery, well I have had major surgery and never felt like this.I feel the same way you do,I have to sit to decide if I can go downstairs to do laundry. At least you have the morning I wake up feeling sh**ty.

I am only two weeks out but I also feel totally weak. I stand to do the dishes and half way thru I have to sit down. At church on Sunday I felt so bad about 3/4 of the way thru I didn't know if I could stick it out. I did but felt like I wasn't going to make it to the car. I take mega vitamins because I have malabsorbtion from other issues. I thought I would be feeling much better by now.
I also had surgery in November, about 3 or 4 weeks ago I suddenly felt so fatigued I felt like I could barely keep my eyes open. I know this feeling, when I was first diagnosed with diabetes I felt this way, but I am no longer diabetic so this isn't the problem. I have been walking since I got home from surgery, and joined Curves about 3 wks before I began experiencing this... SO???
Well, I went to my Dr. and told him what's going on, he ordered the blood work, but thinks it's my thyroid. I've been tested before and didn't have the problem before WLS, but the doc said the rapid weightloss can cause your thyroid to get out of wack. But it could also be a simple lack of vitamins??? I'm still waiting on the results from my blood work, hoping it's just a B-12 problem and need to take more, but we'll see.
Hope you get your answers.
