At a stall grrr.... 6 months out
Lots of stalls, sometimes it seems like I am up and down same 2 pounds forever but then I look at my ticker and realize that I am moving downward very slowly. I'm sure the further from surgery I get from surgery the slower the scale will move. Getting closer to goal weight has the same effect. Have faith, keep up your exercise and meal planning and in time I am sure you will make your goal.
The less weight you have to lose, the slower it will come off. As you inch toward goal (and I'm sure that's what it will feel like!), you'll experience slow downs. That said, I hit a stall not long after six months out, dropped a few pounds and have hit another one. They suck but are a normal (and frustrating) part of the process.
I am almost 6 months out, and have also hit a stall. Seems like it's a common ime for a stall. Just have to keep on track with the diet and exercise, and eventually the scal will move. In the meantime, I try to focus on how far I've come, and all the NSVs in my life because of it (more energy, no more back or knee pain, off the prescription meds for high blood pressure, able to finally shop in any clothing store or department I want, etc.) Hang in there! "This too shall pass."

I'm also six months out and my rate of loss has slowed significantly. I'm not stalled, but I'm floating at the same weight for days at a time, sometimes up to a week or a bit more, before I lose two or three pounds, then float at that weight for a bit. The only thing that's really ******g me off about it is the fact that I'm tentatively scheduled for knee replacement surgery in mid-June, contingent upon my losing about 18 more pounds in the next few weeks, and it's looking like I might not make that marker, which will delay my surgery. Cardio is hard for me because of my severe knee pain, but I do think I need to find a way because it's clear to me that it's time to start exercising. The pools near me aren't an option and I can't afford to join a gym with a pool, so I need to find another way.
Sounds trite - and I don't mean to be insulting (just my experience) - every time I "stall," I just work harder on the program - mostly, I add exercise and/or change up the diet a bit and try not to worry about it - works every time for me. I also consult my intake records to make sure I'm not getting a bit more than I should be getting. Hope it works for you.
