Pre surgery diet.
I was on a very lo-carb diet one week prior to surgery- not a liquid diet, and lost 7. I had lost 10 prior to that eating healthy for a month.. The initial loss from the lo-carb diet is mostly water, as it is depleting your glycogen to make your liver less slippery/floppy.. I was 264 the day before I left for surgery, the night before surgery my surgeon allows a last dinner of whatever you want.. well between the margaritas and chips, I gained 4 overnight! (again water.)
