I love your attitude and the research you did (dreaded stalls, shakes, and fluids, fluids, and more fluids).  I have my surgery the day before you and I am also a self pay!  Congratulations on your date and keep us updated on your progress!

Awww thanks! I've been reading on here daily, and I've learned so much from actual PEOPLE who have this procedure. We are right there together, so I'll pray for you as you pray for me! Let's be sure to keep in touch so that we can motivate each other. I'm so excited for us!!!!!!

 I can remember all the crazy emotions I went through when I paid my deposit and set my date! I can't believe it has already been 7 weeks since my surgery. With you working most of the time, your date will be here before you know it. It will go by faster than you think! Congrats on setting a date and I'll be waiting for ya on the loser's bench!

You are right about the time flying. I'm just gonna use this time to really focus on the pre op diet and hopefully lose a few more pounds before surgery. Emotional overload! LOL That's me right now.  I look in the mirror and think, "This time next year, I may look TOTALLY DIFFERENT in a GOOD way!!" That's huge for me; I've been big all my life! So, please save room from me on the loser's bench, but not too much room because I won't need as much as I do now! LOL
