I saw a plate at my doctors office that caught my attention and would be helpful for portion control once I transition to solids. It was a white plate with a teal swirl in the middle. It had three sections. a Protein (the larger section) A veggie section and A starch section. There was also a bowl to match. Has anyone ever seen this bowl? Do you know how I can get one? I have google it and haven't find anything close.

Similar, but it was plastic or melamine and the portion was very small. It was especially for lap band patients.

Although I think this one http://www.thebalanceplate.com/BalancePlatePhoto.JPG looks cool... I think it needs a bit of tweaking in order to be a WLS plate :)

Still a cool idea.

You might consider going to a pottery glazing place and picking out a plate to paint and do it yourself!!  Would be fun I bet :)

Yep; just checked out http://www.slimware.com/default.asp  Those are really cute. I thought that the one at the doctor showed us to use a larger protein portion than vegetable though. Is my memory failing me?
