I think my surgeon's office lied to me

 It could be worse... I just got a bill for my surgery, I'm anxious to hear the side of the insurance folks at the Cleveland Clinic when they call me back.  My insurance company is not paying for it as it is considered "experimental." I guess that "approval" they got when they scheduled my surgery was for something else.

Oh well, nothing like being on the hook for 40 grand...

Sorry to hear this...hope you get your approval... I have the same Dr as you do.  I still have two more apt with my PCP for my supervised diet before I can submit papers to ins.. I hope I dont have the same problems..I havent heard anything negative about this Dr office until now... Who do you deal with for this?
