Stalled - SMDH

Not quite sure what is up with me but my weightloss is as slow as molasses. Most of the 40 pounds loss from the first month.  I am almost three months and the last 6 weeks I lost probably 10 pounds and according to the scale this morning I gain 2 of the 10 back.  I am doing the necessary crap (water, protein, exercise).  I am now adding addtional crap of being pissed off with the process.

I know keep doing and it will come... Rome wasnt built in a day BUT neither was my disgust with my lack of/slow progress.

To add insult to injury, I have to wear a boot on my right ankle for 3weeks. I sprained it at the end of last year.  Did the soft cast and boot for 2 months.  The tendons in foot are inflamed. Finally started excerising regularly (without gasping my chest) and this....

I am bummed!

 Fay,

You are doing so well... don't stress ;-)

You know that you didn't gain 2 lbs of fat, I'm sure it's jus****er weight.

Try to relax and take care of your healing foot. Are you allowed to swim? Maybe try adding that in to your routine so you don't stress it!

Thats a good suggestion. I was thinking of items to smash with this DAMN boot(stress reliever).

Thanks

LOL.... No smashing. Be patient, let your body heal... and go swim ;-) It's great exercise and no stress on your ankle!

Notice your Avatar is meditating and mine is running?? I am probably smashing little sand crabs on the beach LOL

Seriously...I am somewhat sensitive about bearing my body...oddly enough 40 pounds ago I didnt care who saw me.  Working on it.

Thanks

I am totally on board with you,  I started a stall 2 weeks out, then lost two pounds after 3 weeks, gained 2 back and now I am at 7 weeks out.  Yes I have lost about 36 lbs which is great but I too feel like I'm sticking to a diet and not seeing results enough to keep me motivated.  I'm starting to hear little voices saying, "go ahead eat that icecream, your not losing anyway, why suffer?".  I'm sure you know what I mean...Satan is soooooo evil!

My weight loss has been very stair steps. I lose 6 or 7 then gain 2...stall 3 weeks...repeat. It did pick up when I went low carb though.
