I felt a little rough this morning - though my surgery was at 2pm yesterday.  So that can be expected.  This afternoon am moving around.  I went for a walk and have sat up in a chair for 45 minutes. So feeling pretty good about my progress.  I am on full liquids - 30ml in an hour....no problems thus far. Overall it was not bad to what I was making it out to be...isn't that always the way?

Congrats and good job with the drinking. It took me *forever* to get in 30ml (half a medicine cup)..and an extra day before I was released from the hospital because of it. Sleeping and drinking were the worst parts for me for months.

GL. If you can't sleep, I highly recommend a body and a neck pillow.

Congratulations, Beth! Glad everything has gone so well. Remember to get enough rest the first few days, drink, and walk. Lots of luck!

Congrats! Just know that every day gets a little easier. I am 3 days out now and looking forward to what tomorrow will bring because every day is so much better!

I too am having trouble sleeping. I get a couple hour stints in at night. I cannot handle the bed yet. I know this too shall come in time (or with exhaution) ha!
