It's fun to hear how well all of you are doing. Good idea!

Sleeved on 4/15 and doing great. Have lost 26 pounds, but having problems getting in my protein and calories. Tried to increase calories to 600 this weekend, but could only eat half of the food I prepared. With an afternoon Unjury protein drink I think I get 50-60 g of protein and perhaps 450 calories.  Still on soft foods--eggs, yogurt, stewed meats, smashed beans--but hoping to move on after my 2 week check up on Wednesday.  My doctor doesn't want me getting my calories from drinks, but I don't know how I'll do it until I can eat more than 2 oz at a time!

I returned to Curves last week and lift only the arm resistance machines and walk on the springboards in between machines, and I walk 1/2 mile during my lunch break and 2 to 2-1/2 miles after work. Find that walking and other exercise helps my stomach feel better, as well as my attitude.

Hey April sleeve bros and sisters! I was sleeved 4-20 I still have 9 long days of liquids then on to mushies. I am also sick of sweet protein drinks. I went yesterday and bought gnc unflavored and drink in milk, 28 grams and not so sweet. Also really tired of chewing big vitamins. I am down 35lbs since 4-4-11 start of pre-op. Yay!

I was sleeved on 4/15, not being a good girl about protein or the water. I had my 2 week today with Dr said ok for soft foods. So what did I do?? try a little bite of chicken. Guess what happen, my first . NO MORE CHICKEN EVER. I know that I shouldn't have had that, but it looked so good. I'm having a protein shake and going to bed. Congrats to all the April 2011 sleevers.

4/11, much better today, much better.  Food is getting better and it's getting easier to drink lots of fluid at one sitting (15-20 mins I can drink 20 oz now).

Overall, great day.

My surgery was April 19.  I am having a few challenges:  1.  Lots of nausea  2.  I am very weak.  I am also extremely tired of things creamy.  I really want to chew.  I have a UTI and the antibiotics I have to take are huge.  I have to cut them up into 4 pieces.  Maybe why my tummy is queasy?
