I just arrived home from my Nut visit at Kaiser.
I wasnt sure if I needed to fast so I called kaiser this morning and they said NO.
Everyone is different and that they would let me know at my visit.
It made sense.

Anyhow, I am over taking my vitamins so I need to cut a couple of things down.
I dont need a multi vitamin 2 times a day...only one. I am taking too much D.
Also the B1... one Nut said to take it and the other one said not to at the end of my visit.
She said B1 is more for patients that throw up and that I was past that. I never threw up.
Ok so I know what to do.

They gave me a sheet to eat based on a 1200 calorie diet.  guess what...I will NOT eat
that much.  I will stick to 600 to 800 and if I go occasional 900 so be it.  Maybe I will change next month but as for this month, I am going to keep doing what I am doing. It works. Also they said that I can eat a cup ( 8 oz)  of food a day but split it up now with
protein, veggie, fruit & starch per meal only 3 x a day.
Ummmmmmmmm   isnt a cup to much for me now?
and yes I know I can do it.   I dont think I can eat 2 or 3 oz like some of you. I will stick to the 4 - 6 oz per meal 3 x a day. I try to stay at 4 oz.

She says that bougie sizes has nothing to do with the weight loss because there is very very little difference. They had a huge seminar about it. Also they are going to start leaving restrictive word out of the name, meaning restrictive surgery. They will ma those changes in the verbage soon.

I need to increase my exercise ( personal goal)  but the exercise I am doing right now
is perfect according to them and they also suggested I may want to increase it in the near future.
I do something everyday, like soon I am going to go for a bike ride.

They drew blood checking vitamin levels.  They dont check for my sugar or cholesterol until a year out.  This is what Kaiser does.  Unless I had a problem with something they are doing
what they are doing.

Ok, so I dont see them again until 6 months out. :)  I look forward to see my vitamin levels.
They also said I had good weight loss. They asked my questions about how I feel about this
surgery...  are you kidding????  This surgery gave me my life back and I am forever grateful!!!! :)
