Thank you cab cab!  It is sometimes quite overwhelming to realize I am now after losing all of this weight at some people's highest pre-op weight.  But I do feel so much better!

I know exactly what you mean!  I see other people's HW and I'm just now getting down to it.  But that kind of thinking really won't get us anywhere, so I don't dwell on it.  I just do what *I* can.

Sublimate,

Wow, what an amazing feat...150 lbs!!! That is truly mind-blowing. Congratulations on your achievement, you have earned every last ounce of it.

I know you have said that you once lost 150 lbs before...does that mean everything from here on out will feel like "new" numbers? I know I had lost about 65 lbs once before my sleeve and everything became so exciting once I got into new numbers with my sleeve.

Your dedication to your journey and your willingness to help others around you is inspirational. Even though I am not lucky enough to see you IRL, our interactions on OH have been so instrumental to my own success and I am thankful for your ideas, tips, and general support.

Before we know it you'll be posting about 175 lbs lost...then 200 lbs lost. You are well on your way, chickadee!

Congrats! Congrats! Congrats!
Lindsey

Hi Lyndsey.. thank you for your kind words.  I actually lost 147 (I just rounded up) last time, so I'm already into new numbers.  However my lowest weight last time was 233 (I put on all my weight plus an additional 8) so I'm almost back to my lowest weight and beyond.

I totally have daydreams about getting to onderland, but sometimes it just seems so far away.  I'm going to shoot for the moon though! Just 39 pounds away!

Awesome.. some of that weight was pre-op though.. about a month of pre-op weight in there. :)  I really think if you can do all of the things I've done, and even some of the things I haven't done so well, you could get there and beyond!

Sublimate - Exactly what I needed today.  All of the things you state you could have done better are exactly why I have stayed steady the last 4 months.  Thank you so much for your post!!!

Thank you!  I wish I could say that the sleeve did it all and was the secret to my success, but really it's been a lot of hard work.  I know people want to hear it was easy, but that wouldn't be honest.. BUT I have  had a lot of help with the overeating problem I have had all my life with the sleeve.

Combined with the healthy eating lifestyle I had down pre-op and my renewed commitment to exercise and behavioral changes, I feel like I'm finally getting somewhere!  There is still a great deal of hardwork ahead of me but I feel more hopeful now that if I stick to what I have been doing and make more improvements I will keep going.
