I'm the SAME WAY about my bottom half. I haven't lost anywhere near as much as you have (43-44) but my bottom seems to not have budged much! My top was already much smaller and it's just gotten even smaller while the bottom half stays pretty similar. I'm down from a 20 to a 14-16 on the bottom but even still, quite a few of the 20 bottoms I had don't just completely fall off. But I have gone from a 16ish/XL or XXL top to a 10/M or L top.
