I have never vomited but I have had foamies a number of times, always because I ate too much.  It hasn't happened in a very long time, but it could happen again if I am not careful.

I had some slight dry heaving the night of my surgery, but not vomitting ever! I think the vomitting is more for the RNY and Lapband set.

With the lap band it was a daily occurence with me. I was sleeved on 3/14/11 and have not vomited once. I haven't even felt the need to throw up - such a wonderful change for me.

Never got the foamies, never vomited on food. I did however have a short nausea episode last night culminating in a very short round of dry heaves, then feeling better. This I believe was from me taking a multi on an empty stomach.. It did not agree with me. Took one this am, no issue- who knows?

Never!! This was a concern of mine as I'm a total puke-a-phobe!  I'm happy to say that I've never vomited, had the foamies, or any other form of food going in the wrong direction.  I can eat ANY food and I even eat/drink at a pretty fast pace... no problems!  Hopefully you'll have the same experience.

P.S. I'm 9 months out from surgery.

I vomitted a lot for the first 4 weeks because I had complications (sleeve was super swollen)..Most people don't experience that, but it is possible. You never know how your body will react. But it is good to be informed.

HOWEVER since all of that has been resolved  (around week 5-6). I have only vomitted once and that is because I ate too much, then I carelessly took a sip of water (wasn't thinking). It just tripped me out  that a whole egg, slice of cheese, and 1 strip of bacon was too much and I should have really only eaten 1/2 that meal.

I haven't vomited since having my sleeve done.
