Comebacks to "How much have you lost"?
Ok, so I've been pretty open with people about my surgery. I don't mind telling people about it... However, I'm already getting sick of the "how much weight have you lost?" question. I don't want to be mean or snarky to people... any good comebacks I can use on people when they ask this question?
Thanks :)
Thanks :)

I too got that questions alot for the first 6 weeks but now it seems to be slowing down. I hated it! I'm a teacher and school will be out in 3 weeks so I won't see most of my co-workers until next school year so I"m sure I be getting the question again then. When they ask, I say I"m losing about 2 lbs a week, which I am, but I don't give them a total weight loss amount.
"Quite a bit"
"A lot"
"About as much as my mom weighed when she graduated high school" (true!)
"An 11 year old"
"I've been losing steadily and I've currently lost a number that my doctor is comfortable with"
"Enough to get me healthier!"
"A fair amount"
Or the actual truth, which is whatever my current number happens to be. I never know exactly where my starting point is - sometimes I'll say I've lost X since surgery, or Y since September, or Z which is how much I've lost from my absolute highest. It usually depends on who's asking, you know?
