well not sure you lost that much yet but when you get down lower in weight you are going to find yourself really cold compared to what you are now.  You won't have as much fat to keep you warm.

This is normal.

I also felt cold post-op. It's one of the many changes we find with the VSG.

I found my self cold alot to now. It's part of your body losing weight you once had to insulate you.

Welcome to my world!! Now I have tons of cardigans and hoodies....I have to keep a jacket at work, one in my car....if I go somewhere in my husband's car - I always have to remember to take one.  We went to see the play Wicked and I forgot a sweater. I wanted to die!! All I could think of was get me out of here.  At night on the couch - no joke, I have on my top, a hoodie jacket and a faux fur blanket.  My husband thinks I'm crazy!  AND he won't let me put the thermostat above 77.  The sad thing is - we live in San Antonio.

I am definately cold after surgery.    And, I have not lost enough for that to matter, I don't think.
But, it is getting "better".    Could be that it is in the 90's outside...

I freeze ALL the time now.  It's normal.  The doctor said the body will regulate back to normal eventually.  Until then I freeze.  My mom got me a snuggie for Christmas and it has become my best friend at home :)

I was the same way....cold...  until I started to add good fat to my food plan...
Avocado and EVOO  ( Extra Virgin Olive Oil)  Then my body adjusted and I was
not cold anymore.  Sharing my personal journey and dont know if that is the
answer but for me it worked!

I used to be hot all the time. The second I came home from the hospital I started to freeze. I hadn't lost any weight by then so it's not that I'd lost my padding or anything. It must be a hormonal thing or something. My surgeon told me I'd be cold and I am. I hope I enjoy summer this year. I've always hated the heat. We'll see...
