NSV:I don't hate myself in the morning!

Good morning good people.  For a very long time upon rising in the morning my first thought of the day would be.....oh how I hate my fat self.  Yes, I would look at myself in the mirror and think about all the crap I ate the day before.  Feel like a complete failure for not having the ability to control myself enough to lose wt. 

NOT ANYMORE!!  The past week after I get out of bed my old self attempts to go there but can't cause guess what....I'm NOT obese anymore, I exercised yesterday, AND ate well!  NOTHING to be ashamed about!!  Wow, what a tremendous feeling!! 

Have a great weekend, friends.  For those reading this who haven't taken the plunge....WHAT ARE U WAITING FOR??  VSG has been one of the BEST decisions I've ever made.  NO REGRETS HERE!  Hugs.....Jennifer

I layed in bed this morning before the alarm went off and noticed my tummy was almost flat as I rubbed my hand over it.  Of course I was on my back and that helps but in months/years past ,there would have been a mountain there.  It makes me feel good to start my day that way, knowing that I am finally being successful in my quest for better health.  I totally get it!

This is one of the best milestones after VSG. I completely understand and went through the same thing every day. Feeling like an out of control failure.

VSG has freed me from those thoughts and the feeling of powerlessness.

For anyone on the fence I can tell you this has been so worth it.
