Need motivation!
I've never successfully stuck with a gym. When I decided to do WLS, I knew exercise was going to have to be part of the plan and I knew I'd have to find something I semi-enjoyed and would do on a regular basis. And I'd have to keep it simple and at home.
So, I have a varied routine. Some days I walk my dogs (if you knew my dogs, you'd realize just how much exercise it is!). Some days I get on my Gazelle, which is the only workout machine I've been able to stick to. And I do moves on it that I'm pretty sure would make the manufacturers cringe. But that's my easy "plug in the headphones and just go" routine. And I got the Wii Fit thing and take turns rhythm boxing or marching - which is probably pretty entertaining to watch since I have no rhythm - or try to run over the other Miis on the bicycle, or attempt yoga positions that are going to leave me twisted like a pretzel one day. But these are all things I can do whenever the mood strikes me, whether it's 6am or 11pm, and that's critical to me.
Bottom line, you need to figure out what will work for you and what you can stick with long-term and incorporate it into your day. And it doesn't have to be anything fancy.
