I am just 4 months out. I am eating about 700 to 900 calories a day.  I do not eat bread, or pasta.  I limit my carbs to no more than 5g per item. And I do not add sugar, everything I eat is sugar free.  For special occaisions I have had a very small piece of Bday cake.  After I ate it I felt like the room was spinning not a very good experience.  I definatly limit my sugar intake. I have to admit I am addicted to sugar free popscles!!!!

Hi!!
I am happy to report that after a two week stall - my scale FINALLY moved! YAY!! Doing great!! I try to stay  between 600-800.  I don't eat sweets or breads...my weakness is popcorn and tortilla chips!! I have gone from a size 20 to a 16 - even bought a pair of 14's this past weekend - a little snug so I am going to try them on in another week.  Also went to this HUGE thrift store and found 2 pair of size 12's - really cute - they will be my "goal" pants!! lol!!!

I love love love my sleeve - can't believe I have lost 57 pounds!!!  I am so happy!!!
Hugs!!!
Kris

I eat between 600-800 calories and under 40 carbs--usually toward the lower end of the range.  (I am older and the weight seems to come off best with this plan.)  I am doing fine, I have lost my hunger and that has been the greatest blessing.  My 3 month labs were great.  I plan on doing what I am doing until I hit goal, probably sometime in the fall.

I don't really know. I eat protein first, sip fluids all day, take my vitamins, and eat about five small meals each day whenever my tummy gets that empty feeling.

It seems to be working fine. I'm 4 months out and down almost 60 lbs.

I had my surgery on Jan 11th and I eat between 800-1000 calories per day.  I've lost 50 lbs so far and it's slowed a bit.  I think if I try to keep the carbs lower it would help, but after losing 50 lbs I feel so great, it's very motivating to continue to work this.  Dense protein is the best because you feel full and you aren't craving anything else.

I just passed the 5 month mark last weekend. I'm still averaging between 600 - 800 calories a day and keep my carbs to under 40 a day. This journey has been wonderful so far! I'm down 70 lbs and haven't had a stall (yet) but I'm sure my day will come Minor hair loss, but I'm not worried. I feel great and am enjoying wearing clothes I haven't worn in years! This is the best thing I have ever done for myself.

I have been eating more than those who have posted.  I try to keep my calories under 1000 but rarely do.  I'm probably more like 1,000 to 1,200.   I eat more than 70 grams of protein, probably average 100 g.

I started with a weight of 199, currently I am 150, want to get to 140.  My sleeve surgery was on Feb 10, with Dr. Aceves.  I am 4 months out.  Journey is good.  No regrets!

I just had my 5 month surgiversary. I try to stay under 1000 calories. Some days are more, some days are less (yesterday was only around 700 but I also only got 60g of protein). I try to aim for at least 80g of protein a day. My surgeon wants me to stay under 1200 calories and be getting at least 60g of protein. So far I am just over 70lbs down. I honest was hoping for some since I started at a higher weight, but I do weight train quite a bit and I have a large muscular frame so I think that affects my loss. I also have PCOS, but I hate using that as an excuse. Everyone loses at their own pace and everyone is different. Some lose best around 800 calories, others need 1200 to lose! Good luck! Slow loser or not I have no regrets.

I'm not counting calories.  I had this surgery for the freedom aspect, and I refuse to live my life counting every calorie! :)

So far I'm down 50 lbs. at 5 months out.  My BMI was not really high to begin with, so I'm good.  I'm blessed.  This surgery is a gift!
