Not losing anymore:(((
I have been struggling since January. I have only lost 15 lbs since the New Year..I still have 40 lbs to go, and I am beginning to become frustrated...i KNOW LOSING 60 LBS SO FAR IS AN ACCOMPLISHMENT, BUT i MUST BE DOING SOMETHING WRONG. I have been bouncng back and forth from 185-187...I do weight training two times a week...any suggestions how to jumpstart the weight loss again...??
I haven't had this problem so far, but my suggestions would be to:
1. Make sure you're drinking enough water.
2. Start exercising a couple more days per week, and try doing some aerobic exercise to burn lots of calories and get your metabolism going.
3. Evaluate your diet and see where you need to add and subtract.
4. Maybe try doing the liquid diet for a week to get a new start.
Those are just a few things that I can think of. I know it must be very frustrating. Good luck to you and keep us posted!

Dont' you love when you answer your own questions, lol! I usually try to get in around 80-90 g of protein a day and about 45 carbs a day but not exceeding 15 carbs at each meal. I also get in at least 64 oz of water and go to the gym m-th and take of friday and the weekends. You are doing awesome and you know you have it in you to get to goal! None of us set out on this journey to not go all the way. Tomorrow is a new day, start fresh! Good luck and keep us posted!
Those are all great suggestions. I would also add that you should track what you are eating with an online/phone app or with a diary. I use Fatsecret and love, love, love it, but there are others you can check out. That being said, then you'll be SURE what your fat, calories, protein & carbs are every day and you can look at your eating habits over time. Not to mention the fact that it helps to keep you accountable. Just a thought!

You must permanently change your lifestyle if you want your weight loss to be permanent. You can do it!
Your sleeve is not magic. You must eat right, too. Protein first, veggies next, and if room a few complex carbs. Completely stay away from simple carbs and sugar. And drink water like a fish. The weight will come off, but you have to make wise decisions. Best wishes :-)

In addition to weight training, throw in 30 minutes of elliptical, fast walking, or the like at least three and preferably four times a week--you MUST go hard enough to be breathing pretty hard for 20 consecutive minutes, ie to the point it would have a hard time holding a conversation. It won't work to do a whole hour twice a week, btw.
The above will boost your metabolism and make you burn fat. be wanrned it might also boost your hunger so have a banana or an ounce of cheese ready when you finish :)
