Sensitivity when discussing VSG in a mixed WLS crowd?

 Recently I reconnected with a friend that had the Band in April of last year.  She was doing well but then she started having trouble with eating.  I listened to her vent about how much she would have rather stayed fat.  She gained all of her weight back and never made goal.  While we were talking, some old coworkers heard that I was visiting and was make comments about how much weight I lost and how much I look better and healthier.  I felt bad becuase my freind is a great woman and she deserves to be happy and healthy like anyone else.  I am trying to tell her about the VSG revision but I feel like you do, awkward and like I am insulting her choice.

I didnt relize that this would even be an issue. Crazy
