HI All

I am about 5 weeks out and I have gained 4 lbs in the last 5 days! not sure what is going on but it is not a good feeling..ugh..  Does anyone know if there are any diet/nutrition trackers that are specifically related to WLS and our needs?  thanks for your help

4 lbs in 5 days sounds totally like water weight!  Could it be Aunt Flo is coming for a visit?  Have your sodium levels been up?  How are you doing on your liquids?  All of these could contribute to a gain in water weight...

I use http://Myfitnesspal.com to track my stuff - not specifically for WLS - but a good tool.

Good luck - the good news is water can go as fast as it comes!

Oh - and make sure your scale doesn't need new bateries!

I also use and get a lot out of myfitnesspal.com.

Reaching my weight loss goal would not have been possible had I not tracked my food and limited my carbs.

Good luck,
George

Water weight or perhaps you're constipated? I had some issues about that time period, too. Annoying, but it won't last.
Mom to 8, looking forward to a healthy future!

I use FatSecret.com , it has a bariatrics section and there are bariatric recipes etc.  I like the food tracking there too.. sounds like summer time water gain.  Push the liquids and make sure they are not hgh in sodium like some of the Gator Aid products.  (saw a program on tv the other day about how the Gator Aid type products are specifically made for drinking when you work out or are working hard enough to break a sweat, they put the salt back into the body that you sweat out. Apparently they are not made for just enjoying...LOL!)

thanks everyone, I guess it could be sodium Im gonna watch out for that, and try to push more than the minumun for liquids..Definately gonna track my food although Im not really eating too much..but I know somethinbg is up for sure, I was also thinking I should get my Hypo thyroid rechecked to make sure they dont up my meds..this can be so frustrating..
