I dont really think I have to much sugar in my blood as tested regurlaly on on the lower side..

I trauma with carbs...feel like it doest go down and stuck in between as I cant drink while eating ..

Will discuss this more details when he is back.

Sasha, I wish you would listen to the other posters here because they are right on. If you are used to eating low carb which you would be eating primarily protein, and then start drinking optifast which has refined sugars in it, you will have blood sugar swings where you go too high and too low (you want your blood sugar levels to be steady not swinging up and down) because of how insulin works in response to carbs.

Then you can get sick and dizzy feeling in response to the blood sugar swings whi*****ludes fainting. As the other poster said, it's very common for very overweight people to get RH after losing a lot of weight as the body learns to re-regulate blood sugars in a much smaller body with a very different diet.

If you do get dizzy and need to raise your blood sugar, you are better off trying to eat something with fat in it to slow the absorption of the sugar into your blood stream so you don't spike all over the place. Just a small amount of sugar will do in that situation.

Then you want to try to eat protein meals more frequently to keep your blood sugar levels more even.
