What is happening? I have so many men wanting my phone number or they want to
ask me out. Granted some of them arent my type, in fact none of them are my type.
I must be attracted the ghetto of the ghetto. It just has to get better right? Honestly,
I think its sweet people are interested in me. My type or not, I think its weird and it feels
so unreal because for many years people would not give me the time or the day.
I have such low self esteem ( its coming up) that I would settle for any attention.
I dont want to settle today. I am also not ready for prince charming for about another year.
I am afraid to date. I go to extremes with everything I do. This sleeve has saved my life
and its the only thing I want to focus on now... that is me... loving and taking care of me.
So, I dont want any man interupting this for me right now.

It still feels weird because I still see me and feel me as the fat girl!

You know I read a study that showed WLS patients took a few years (i believe) for their mind to catch up with their body? Meaning it took them awhile to see themselves as they really are. They said the same sentiment applied to people who think they are skinny but have gained tons of weight really fast. That is why you get some extremely over weight people who think they arent heavy at all. lol (I fortunately wasn't one of those people...I have always been fat lol) So give your brain some time, and in a few years after your weight is stablized you should see yourself as you really are. Also I think it is a great thing that you are taking care of only you right now. OMG my fiance is driving me fricking insane!!! AHHHHHHHHHHH I keep telling myself WOOOOOSAHHHHHHHH lol Good luck, by the way you look friggin amazing! =D

Its just how do I say NO to these phone numbers? I usually give them out and then I blow
them off. I just dont want people having my number.

I hear you! It takes some getting used to. It really is different. When I was heavier no one would even look at me.
