So this is what full feels like

So today make 1 week post op for me. I went to the doctor's office to have my staples removed and feel so much better.  I'm still on liquids like I have been for the past 3 weeks (2 week pre op diet).  Since I'm only on liquids, I haven't felt the feeling of fullness since surgery to know what the new feeling is like with my new sleeve.  Today after my appointment I went to Olive Garden and picked up some soup (delicious).  This was a little more hearty soup and after about 5 spoonfuls, I finally felt the feeling of being full and I have to say I like it.  I'd had enough, put my spoon down and walked away.

This could be the beginning of something wonderful

Cool! What kind of soup did you get? I love the kale, potato and sausage soup they have.

Yay me too, I went to Olive Garden and had the chicken gnocchi soup...it was so yummy.  I could only eat a few bites but it was the best.  Congrats on your surgery, but  may I ask why you had to get staples removed?

That's the same soup I had today.  It was my first time trying their soup and I was pleasantly surprised.

My surgeon used staples for my incensions.  I only have 2 pretty small ones and one larger one where the tissue was removed.  I went to the dr's office to have them removed which took all of 2 minutes.

Yes, there's no better feeling on Earth than to know you've had enough and then to walk away. Congratulations. Your magical mystery tour has now begun.

so you could have the soup and whats in the soup now?  or just the liquid?  I cannot wait to get to where I can have a little more than just clear liquids.

I can have cream soups on my full liquid diet.  So I just eat the broth or cream of the soup and leave all of the ingredients like chicken or vegetables.
