Wow! I knew about the wheat and gluten and I also have a sensitivity to corn. I have to admit when I don't eat properly I feel like I am walking through water. But 'Oats' ! I so love a bowl of oatmeal. Now I will admit I am hungry afterword like when I was eating bread. It just taste so good and feels good going down. But alas if I am going to be completey honest I feel my best when it is just fruits, vegetables and proteins. So thank you for sharing. I have been seeing the posts about working to keep your carbs at around 30 to 40 grams per day and I find it interesting to see where the carbs still show up after you remove the breads, and the starches. But I will figure it out.
Good info & nice & simple & short! I know as a "regular" lean person, with no weight issues.. my husband has now fallen in love with the grain-free eating plan. He says he wakes with energy, and never gets the afternoon slump that he used to.. just steady all day. He's doing it for triglyceride issues and general health.. and the bonus is an effortless drop in what few lbs of fat he had on him. Oh, and no hunger.. between a good hunk of meat and a ton of veggies, he's happy.
