Good for you! I won't be surprised if it either pops up out of the blue OR misses you completely (you might be one of those 1/1,000,000 people!).

I was mostly just trying to say that most people experience it DESPITE getting enough protein and water blah blah blah. It just happens. Nobody is being bad when they are losing their hair.

My daughter says take biotin.  Dr. OZ said to take Primrose oil and Black Currant Oil which come in pill form I think from the looks of the bottles.  That was for hair loss in general he was talking about.

That said my daughter has lost 71 lbs in 4 months and has been having hair loss.  I think it is between the anethesia and the weight loss. She got curly hair after having surgery once.  Losing weight that fast causes it to happen to some, not all.  Good luck and do take your vitamins for sure.

I am not say if I have lost hair or not, don't want to jinx anything.   But I only have lost around 36 lbs in the same 4 months but I was a lightweight and have only around 5 to go.  Had mine for medical reasons.  I had lost some before surgery.  Yes I did have to pay for it myself.

I was doing great -- no hairloss -- until I apparently became Iron deficient.  My hairdresser  (also a dear friend) almost had a cow thinking he had overprocessed my color, lol.  Take your vitamins and supplements.  Mine is already better since I started on iron.

I see you do your own homework. That's good. Do a little bit more and search "telogen effluvium". You'll see that it happens, or not. To answer the title of your thread - not everyone.
