 What a relief for you! 

How long of a process has it been for you? Did you experience any problems with insurance?

(Just starting to research everything now and looking to soak up knowledge)

 lt is!  l've been so anxious, just hoping nothing would hold it up.  lt has only been a few months since l started the process.  There are alot of hoops to jump through, and paperwork and stuff, but you just do it one step at a time.My psych evaluation was supposed to take 2 weeks but took 5 to get back, so that drove me nuts! But my dr just sent in for the approval on tues, and they called me today!!!  So now it's time for the lab tests and final nutrition visit, ....it's been pretty smooth.  l just have a hard time (because l had lost all hope of ever being thin again) believing this is happening for me! So l also have to see my pcp tomorrow to talk about my mild depression.  Seriously, l think it will be soooo much better when l don't have all of this extra weight causing so much pain all the time., and when l am not so embarressed to be out in public, you know?! 
BTW - this forum is such a wonderful place for knowledge and inspiration.  Most of the time;), anyway.

 Congrats!  I'm still on cloud nine about being approved.  I feel like I won the lottery.

 Congrats, all that other stuff will go by so fast and you will be in surgery before you know it. I know that is how it was for me. Good Luck.
