Interesting stuff here!  I use coconut flour all the time in my attempt to make lower carb baked goods....I have days where I have trouble with bread, but crackers are usually no issue...as long as I don't eat more than a few and I am putting tuna or chicken salad on them...lol

I haven't really eaten raw celery for a long time (never my favorite way to eat celery anyway) but I love using celery in soups and stews as it is low carb. lots of fiber.

I have never heard about pickle skin!  That is really bizarre!

Are you off your PPI meds while pregnant?  I just thought about it, and I remember you saying you took a couple things for stomach acid.

Well, I guess my lesson here is learning that everyone really is different in what works for them and what doesn't when trying to eat post op!

Thanks for sharing!

Yes, I'm still on a PPI. I've actually had more reflux in the pregnancy than I ever had before. I take Nexium daily. That's the only PPI I take. I was on Prilosec, and when the transit time issue was discovered, along with mild gastritis in January, I was switched to Nexium and have remained on with my high risk ob's "okay".

Despite my weight woes, for many years I've leaned toward health foods and natural supplements.
I even juice on and off.  Most off because its so labor intensive.
I've used virgin coconut oil too.
