First stall in 4 weeks

I had a great first month - down 29 lbs!  Then have been stalled for the past week.  :(  Actually the scale said I gained a 1/2 a lb.   I know, I know, my body is trying to figure things out post surgery and the next loss will come.  It is just mentally frustrating/draining.  People say take measurements when you haven't lost pounds for the week.  I am so afraid to do that and not lose any inches either.  Such a mental mind game this is.  Fingers crossed the scale moves soon - my first goal is to reach 50 lbs lost by 9/21 (my b-day)!   I see my doctor next week - hopefully I will be told I can do more exercise than just walking and swimming.  I really want to get more cardio - zumba and wii cardio boxing are so fun!  Plu**** the treadmill for a faster/longer time and start lifting weights.

Stalls are typical, especially in the 3 week range.  No one likes them, but everyone needs to learn to accept that they will happen periodically, and also that they will end!  The body needs time to readjust now and then.  Stick with your program.  Keep your protein up, carbs down.  Drink as much as you can and you will be shrinking in no time!

It will be okay my sleeve sister. (hugs) I hate to say this but I haven't hit my first stall YET... But I know that it is coming very soon. I can tell that it is slowing. But I am still loosing. I have dropped 46.6. I have dropped 40 pounds since I left the hospital. I am very proud of ever pound but have been going threw self-deconstruction lately. I know that I need to up my protein but still having trouble finding something I can drink. But we will get threw this together....

OMG if u like wii boxing you must get the golds gym cardio workout for wii. It is probably very cheap now and it is by far the funnest/hardest workout ever!

Hey guys! Thanks for the encouragement.    I know I will get through it - I was just a little more emotional because on past diets I could lose 30 lbs and then I would stop and maintain or gain.  So I know this isn't a "DIET" and my outcome is totally going to be different. 

Wii - yes that was what I meant the gold's gym cardio boxing - I just didn't want to type it all out LOL  -- it is my favorite!  I love Just dance as well - hoping to get Summer party for my birthday.  Let me know if you have any other good Wii active games.  Aparently you burn almost 200 cals playing Wii bowling for 30 minutes - according to myfitnesspal!

It has been 4 weeks tomorrow since I had surgery and I have been in a stall for over a week.The week before I only lost 2 lbs. Things are going pretty slow for me but I know only eating the amt. of cal that I am that it will catch up sooner or later. I just wi**** would hurry up. I am thinking (wishing) that if it goes slow like this maybe I won't lose as much hair in a couple of months from now. If that is hte case I will gladly take it slow and steady!
