Well I am 5 days post op and as of today I can tell you that I do regret my sleeve, I hope that changes soon. I dont puke but I feel nauseated but they give you pills for that. I am still hungry and can only have liquids for the next couple of weeks so im unhappy about that, my brain is on over load about food right now that I want to eat. I am honestly thinking this sucks and I wish I could take it back, problem is its not reversible so I have to live with this now. Not trying to freak you out but just want you to know that for some people it isnt all roses and sunshine after surgery.

Good Lord, of course you feel awful; you JUST had 75% of your stomach removed and obviously it doesn't heal in a week! Sure you regret your sleeve-temporarily! I'm not trying to be ugly, but encouraging. Barring some weird complication you will be laughing at this post within a month, which is a really short period of discomfort compared to a lifetime of lugging around a bunch of excess weight!

.. but at least you have a good sense of humor about it. :)

It'll slow down enough to hop off in a few days, just hang on till then.

I'll be 6 weeks out on Tuesday, but I certainly have no regrets.  Now it's not been a cake walk.  The first week was horrible!  After that though, it has just been one day at a time learning what I can and can't do.  Every day just keeps getting better.  I'm so sorry for all your mother and sister have gone through. I imagine it would be hard not to allow that to color your perception of wls.  I love my sleeve, and I wouldn't go back for anything.  It's already made my life better in so many ways.  I'm not on blood pressure meds since the day of my surgery, and my blood pressure has been great.  I'm not insulin resistant anymore, and the lbs are really starting to drop.
