I totally feel your pain. A week or two is no big deal, but a month really starts to wear on you! Don't give up or give in by eating icky food.

and thanks for the nice complements. I'm glad you enjoy my reponses and yes, I try to be a voice of reason about vites. Don't know if I always get through, but I try. I'm a researcher by profession so I grab onto facts and don't do well with "my doc/nut/next door neighbor told me so" types of statements. :)

Hang in there! You will make it to goal and I can't wait to read that post!

Dear Jennifer,

Low 90's every F'ing Day?  That means you have NORMAL glucose levels every F'day!!  Smile .  I have 9 lbs to go and they are taking their own sweet time coming off but they will and I am not worrying about it one bit.  I was at 146 for a couple of weeks but moved down a size in pants. Finally lost to 145 today.  Relax.  You have lost nearly 100 lbs.  Say it out loud--100 lbs.  Go find something that weighs 100 lbs and try to pick it up.  Look at a preop pic. You are doing great and are almost there.
I am not big boned!  Bones don't jiggle!

Hi Lisa.  Yep it's normal, but not really.  LOL   If I eat any extra carbs over my normal 40 or less, it's in the 100's fasting.   Thanks for the encouragement and good luck making goal!  ~Jennifer

I haven't been on here much lately but what great advice from everyone ! It is amazing that we can get down even being so close to goal. It is hard to keep it positive at all times. My wt loss has slowed considerably but I just have to keep plugging away.
Keep up the good work and try and enjoy the process along the way. Try and enjoy the new you!

I couldn't agree with you more, Gracie.  It's a shame that I'm down nearly 100 pounds etc...yet complain about losing the last 15 (or hate the excess skin, or a how "fat" I still look, or the deflated saggy breasts..).
Smaller body with the same issues it seems.  I need to get happy with me.  ~Jennifer

If you are younger you should have some skin  tighten. I am 53 and I can tell that mine is slowly. Slowing down the wt loss can be a good thing. Sometimes I think that shaking things up and not being so routine helps too. Change up the work out to be just walking sometimes or eating a little  more one day a week. or change up what you eat and when. I think you have done an amazing job!

Thank you, Gracie.  My batwings are so bad.  Not really a surprise because I had them before VSG.  They're just horrible now.  I'll be 40 in October.  ~Jennifer

If you're measuring in mg/dL, normal fasting range is typically 70-110 mg/dL.

I suggest if you're still concerned, you might visit your doctor and have further testing done.
