What does it feel like when you need to have your gallbladder removed? Been having some stomach pains and I know it is common to have GB issues after VSG.

Thanks,

I had to have my gall bladder removed in 2004.  During an attack, the pain was gnawing and continuous on the upper right side of my abdomen.  I was usually sweaty, nauseous, and gassy.  It was worse if I ate something spicy, fatty, or fried.  It stinks!

Good luck!

I had my gall bladder removed in 6/10. My symptoms were extreme pain at the base of my sternum...radiating to my right side. I was also nauseous to the point that I vomited several times during an attack. My attacks usually came at night and lasted about 5-6 hours, then would subside.

I think my main symptoms were pain under my right rib cage and nausea after eating, didn't vomiy but just queasy for a few hours. Also considerable back pain. They can do an ulra sound to see if it is your GB. Good luck!
