I know I am asking a ton of questions here...Its my nerves I think.

So, they said I needed to wash with antibacterial soap for a week prior. I am assuming they do NOT mean like hibacleanse, when they just said "antibacterial soap" So, I am assuming the good ole Dial gold I bought fits this purpose right? Wouldn't you think??

Also, ladies lets talk shaving legs. I am one of these women that HAVE to shave every single night because I cannot sleep due to prinkles....obviously, I know for a couple days I wont be able too, but how soon did you feel up to bending over and shaving?

thats all for now ;)

I didnt have to wash with anti bacterial soap, but i assume dial would be fine.

and I didnt at all the 3 days i was in the hospital.. but right when i got home i did.. i'm obsessive about shaving and showering.. i wasnt allowed to shower at the hospital so literally i walked in the house after i got home, and went straight to the bathroom and showered and shaved. i felt so much better. haha.

good luck! (:

I only had to use antibacterial soap the morning of my surgery.  I just went to Walmart and found regular soap (safeguard) which stated it was antibacterial.

I too took a shower as soon as I got home but shaving had to wait a couple of days. I was still very light headed!

The hospital gave me the hibacleanse to use the night before and the morning of sugary, but told me if I am sensitive to it to use any antibacterial soap that did not have anything else in it like scent or moisturizer.
Can't speak to shaving as I wax but I imagine bending over may be painful for a few days. We'll see next week,

Funny I just posted something about 6 days out about shaving! I tried and I felt like I pulled a muscle or something...so bad I called the surgeon's office, and she said I probably stretched my stomach the wrong way, so then I hurt again for another two days then I was better so for me it was about 9 days post op i could finally bend and shave comfortably...Don't worry you won't want anyone touching your legs during that time! LOL

I have the most pain on my left side, so I could prop up my right leg and shave it no problem on day 4.  The left leg as a whole other story - the incision burrned too much!  So right now I have a well-shaved right leg, and am able to go down a little lower each time on the left.  Soon the ankle and top of foot will be done!
