I am dertermined to work my way up, but I am down right ashamed at how short of an amount of time I could spend on it!  I can walk for ever, treadmill for 45 min, but the dang elliptical... I was dying at 5 min doing 5.6mph!!!

GOT to work on that.... :-)

I was the same way but I started at 5 minutes each time I got on and now have worked up to 30  minutes.  I now find it easier than the treadmill because it's not as hard on your knees. Give it time and you will get there! Keep up the great work!

Yea that eliptical will bust your butt. I had to start in 5 minute intervals as well. I had worked my way up to almost an hour when I was working out consistently.

Give it time. That is my favorite form of exercise. I can do 1 hour and 30 minutes on the treadmill afterwards. I do this about 4-5 times a week. It just takes a while to work up to it.

thats why i cant wait to get one , i love the challenge. I can walk on the treadmill for an hour but the eliptical maybe 10 minutes, its hard when you start but it's something you have to work your way to conquer. Good luck!

I can only do about two minutes on an elliptical, it shreds my knees and thighs.  Sticking to the treadmill for a while.
