<1/2 egg?? REALLY!??? Frustrated...

I have not tried to eat an actual egg.  However, my husband had surgery 8/30 and says that a real egg is much more difficult for him to eat than something like Egg Beaters.  He can eat 1/4 cup Egg Beaters (equivalent to 1 egg), but less than half of an actual egg. 

Have you tried greek yogurt instead?  Still lots of protein, but is much lighter in my tummy.  I had 2 oz of 2% plain greek yogurt with a teaspoon of SF Torani almond syrup for breakfast - HEAVEN!

Wow! Thank you everyone for all of your responses. Lots of good ideas and words of encouragement! Exactly what I needed, so thanks. I am definitely going to pick up some EAS carb shakes, I am down for anything at this point to get some more protein in.
I think that it is a struggle being used to eating SO much and now thinking I will starve with so little. It's kind of funny in a sad way. I just need to buckle down and get the shakes in and wait it out to eat solid foods. I wish I could get in all my protein from food but it isn't in the cards yet.

Oh- and I did buy greek yogurt today so I will try that tomorrow for lunch :)
