I was the strict, square Mom who didn't let my kids get Tats or piercings till they were 18. My Daughter Kat has more than made up for it since she turned 18 over 6 years ago. She has had her lip pierced in 2 different spots, her ears pierced multiple times, her nose pierced, her neck pierced on the back, her clevage pierced (this one didn't work and had to be taken out) and I at one point told her if she had anything else pierced...just don't tell me.

She has multiple tatoos and currently has her bangs dyed bright purple. She also showed up to her Sisters grad party with a bright orange mohawk, which is why I mentioned currently. In spite of all the additional holes in her head, I adore her! She has this very Betty Paige style all her own! She wears a big flower in her hair a lot, and she marches to her own drummer. I always raised her to be independent and not follow the crowd, guess she was listening!! She was just in a horrible car accident last week and she's one black and blue mark from the top of her head to the tips of her toes. It could have been much worse...so I thank God she's ok!

I just wonder if I had let her get her nose pierced when she was younger...

PS...you both are gorgeous...she looks just like her Mama!!
