Hi everyone.. I just got a lapband to sleeve revision last friday. Long story short I got a lap band in 2004, it never worked quite right but I did end up losing weight on it, maintained it till I got married and then had my 3 girls.. have since gained it all back and a few extra. So last friday I had gastric sleeve revision and I have some questions for the veterans out there :)

I know I'm supposed to do the liquid thing, protien shakes, jello, yogurt etc for 2 weeks, then the *slick/mushy/soft* foods for 2 weeks after that so my questions are.. what all did you eat in weeks 2-4, a little list of good ideas would be fabulous! Also what all were you able to add after week 4 and so on.. basically sort of a guideline of *real* foods without the well you should be able to eat things that are soft but not this this and this thing lol I need to wrap my head around things that I can actually eat, or will be able to eat and around how far out..? The sleeve is totally different than the lap band is so I just am looking to get some more information from those who have actually been through this and some good tips on foods that worked well for you and around when. Sorry if some of that is repetative, its a little late and my youngest daughter is stirring so I'm also trying to get her back to sleep (she's 8 months). I have 3 very busy kids (4yrs, 2yrs and 8 months)

Looking forward to hearing from you and thank you in advance, greatly appreciated! :)

Oh and also, when will I be able to drink more than a sip without it feeling *uncomfortable*? :)

Thanks again!!

congrats on your surgery!! My surgeon gave me  a guide line for weeks 1-8 , at 2 to 4 weeks, let me see i was doing my protein shakes, slowly introducing myself to mushies like cream soups, yogurts, puddings, i did try some eggs very soft scrambled eggs at that time. Ask your office if they can give a list of things you can follow and eat but all is trial and error and everyone is so different after WLS, some can tolerate more and some can't . Hope this helps and good luck!

Thanks for the info...my Dr gave me some ideas but you know the ideas of a Dr leave a bit to be desired hehe but yeah I was thinking soups and things like that also.. hoping I can add in a few things here and there but seems most people do well with soups, cottage cheese, yogurts, pudding, scrambled eggs etc.. just thought maybe someone had some other tips to break up the monotony :)  I can only think of so many slimy, creamy, soup type foods :)
