Good Morning Everyone,
I just wanted to post a quick update.I haven't really been posting that much because I've been working a lot of extra hours. As most of you know i was suppose to have surgery back in Sept but my old PCP screwed me over because he refused to fill out the documentation for the six months that my ins require and the letter then he wrote did nothing for me.So i got a new PCP and I'm meeting with him towards the end of this month and that is going to be my second month,I totally love my new PCP he is really cool and down to earth and easy to talk to and he more then supportive for me having this surgery.I've done everything that i need to do,I had my upper GI procedure back in Sept and i got my result back and it came back positive for the Pyloric(Sp) bacteria...So now i have to be on antibiotics my Dr told me that his nurse was going to call in my prescription but when i called my local rite aid they said that they didn't have anything for me so i have to call my Dr office back and make sure that they send my prescription in.Since i know that i'm not goin to have surgery again until late march or april.I've started working out again and eating right and watching my food intake.I've set mini goal for myself that ever time i go to see my PCP i want to be down five pounds...So my goal is to lose 5 pounds a month,That way i have something to work towards.
I also want to say how proud i am of you guys that recently had your sleeve and rockin it out,I'm so proud of my sleevers.

Pam - So glad your new PCP is on your side! Want to congratulate you on working hard before your surgery to practice good habits. It will make so much difference when you are sleeved. Changing your relationship with food now will really help you after surgery. Wishing the best and please keep us posted on your progress pre and post-op!

Congratulations, Pam!  It took me a long time to feel good about my choice to have surgery, but I have been super pleased with the whole process.  You'll be there in no time!!
