how are the 2wks-6wks out peeps??
I had a migraine the day after my surgery, I can't remember how long it took them to give me something for it but I basically spent the day in bed. I was afraid if I didn't get it under control that I would start vomiting soon but I think I fell asleep and when I woke it wasn't so bad so they must have given me something.

You guys are all an inspiration for us newbies! I was sleeved monday, all is going well except I have massive headaches. My OH friend said I may be dehydrated so I am stepping up the fluids. Keep up the good work all of you, it helps to read about you guys! Thanks. Hi everyone! I am 5 weeks and a few days out. So far, I have lost between 35-40 lbs since the pre-op diet. I haven't lost anything since week 4, and gained 5 lbs, but I just started my cycle (which was a week late), so I think that may have been water weight. I don't know how many calories I get in a day, but I would venture a guess somewhere in the low 500's. I am in the seafood, eggs and cheese stage (my doctor is really strict on adding foods), but I added chicken against my doctor's orders.
I have had quite a few NSV moments since my surgery. I bought a shirt from my kids' favorite store and, by week 2, I could fit it (XXL). I was able to walk up both my basement steps and my stairs to the top floor without stopping to take a breath. And, today, I dropped something in the car and, before I realized what I was doing, reached down, scooped it up and kept on driving. In the past, to retrieve that item would have required me to stop the car, open the door and move and bend in ungodly ways to retreive the item. I love my sleeve!! Now, if only this stall would break! :-)

Hi!
3.5 weeks for me. First week lost 13 lbs., second week 4, and third week 4. 2 lbs. so far this week.
I have the same surgeon as sunnymicki, so I'm on purees still (hopefully soft starting next Wednesday). I'm not having any problems getting in fluids. Protein I'm averaging about 50-55. I still can't get over what tiny amounts of purees I can tolerate. Also funny how some things don''t work at all but others are fine. Egg salad through the blender is my new best friend. Also pureed turkey meatball with marinara - looks like Alpo, but goes down well. Chicken salad pureed doesn't go at all - feels like a ball in my throat from the first bite, so I'm avoiding it for now.
I did feel like I was going to stall last week - had 3 or so days at the same weight, so I ramped up the walking. I had been walking a fair amount before surgery, so I picked back up with a 3 mile walk every other day. It seemed to break me out of the stall.
Still very easily fatigued, monster walks notwithstanding.
I think my loss mostly shows in the face, although my waistband is definitely much looser. In fact, my 18W skirt I'm wearing now is falling off of me, so I'm definitely a size smaller. My guess is a 16W on bottom, maybe even a misses 18, and a 2X on top (used to be 3X presurgery). I'm holding off as long as possible before getting anything new. Not a problem since I have closets full of clothes too small for me!

Wow there are lots of us here!!! This is great!
I am 9days post opp today. I just got home from my 1st check up with my surgeon. He said things look great, I looked good and keep it up with the protein and liquids I've been avg about 60/60 a day. He thought that was great. However still concerned with my heart rate going up to 130-140 when I stand or do ANYTHING but not overly concerned since I've been so sick since 4days post opp with sinusitis just had my xrays yesterday to rull out pneumonia. Anyways...
Food - On Full liquids, Isopure, unjury and cream of soups have been what I've lived off of. However I have some plain greek yogurt and Yellow cake flavored protein mix I'm going to try later. :)
Stalls/Gains/Loss - I've lost a total of 19lbs since surgery day.
Exercise - Does laps around my house and kitchen count, that's about all I've gotten with being sick and my heart rate going crazy and short of breath. Hoping this resolves with the meds I'm on and I can increase my activity.
NSV - I can tell a difference in my face, double chin is getting smaller. And can start to see my collar bone just a little.
