Well hey good that you caught the band slippage quickly and to be able to get the sleeve before you started to gain the weight back.

I just don't know if I can tolerate the pain, they say the c-sections heal better for skinnier people but I never knew. I already have a flap there from my c-sections so know I am going to have to have it removed but I just don't know if I can deal with the pain and look after children and then get that much time off of work for healing. I just wish if I was going to do it they do it all at once, the boobs, arms, thighs and TT that way I can deal with the pain all at once but I know they won't do that. I am going to try and wear my pregnancy belt to hold my stomach up once it fits around me again and see if that will help as I am losing weight.

I went to see pictures in your profile, OUCH that looked painful but I see what you are saying that it was just uncomfortable. Did that flap go down or do they remove it after you are healed? That really looks too painful for me though, you're a tough cookie.

Yes Jackie, that rope looking thing did go away totally, all I have left is a very thin line, and my stomack is as flat and as tight as a board...Im so happy with the work they did....

Well glad you like everything, did you have it done in the USA? If I can't get our medical to cover it in Canada I am probably going to have to go to Mexico where I can afford it more but won't like the flight home afterwards.

I am pretty sure with the record of my infections under my c-section 'flap' and back pain with the boobs and rashes underneath them when it is hot and sweaty I might be able to get both covered here. Fingers are crossed for the next two years. I will probably have to go in for every little rash there just to get a better record of it since my doctor left the practice, I hope my medical record stayed there for a new doctor there.

Yes jackie, I had the plastic surgery done in the USA by Dr. Joseph Capella, he specializes in people who had bariatric surgery....He's an atrist at what he does...I don't think I would go outside of the country for any surgery, I would rather stay and have it all done here, but everyone does whar's good for them...

Yes hopefully I can have it done here when I need it but I thought I have heard that the plastic surgeon here no longer does TT, not sure what is up with that. I will check with a few friends of mine that know more about this surgeon that I know of.

I had my VSG in Mexico because the wait time here is 10-20 yrs. I had no problems down there and they were a great team that I had preforming my surgery. But yeah for plastic surgery I hope I don't have to take these measurements into my own hands again.

No, I never had a C-section so I cannot compare the two, but they did cut me complety around my stomach.

First of all, Congratulations!

Second, it will get better. I am almost 3 weeks out and my first few days were horrible. I didn't even consider turning my phone on, much less my computer for almost a week, so you're already doing better than I did. Anyway, At almost 3 weeks out, I am still a little tired and sometimes a little sore but mostly feeling back to normal so hang in there. The first week, will seem like a bad dream before you know it.
Do not ask God to guide your footsteps if you're not willing to move your feet.
