Just DID IT
Guys,
I just did it! Finally had my sleeve, and I can't take the smile off my face. Granted there is a wee bit of discomfort, but my feeling of happines overcomes any discomfort I may have. My sleeve sister Claudia, who is staying in the room next to me is also doing great. We are amazed as to how little pain or discomfort we are experiencing. On my end all I have is a sore throat and a bit of groginess. My tummy feels like i did 400 sit up yesterday and I'm suffering consequences of the workout. Very little pain.. I am feeling little baby burps coming out since I took a gas X strip. I keep dozing in and out as the staff and Drs drop by to say hello and check up on me. My wonderful husband has been the best cheerleader, nurse and supporter the whole time around- makes me feel like such a lucky lady.
I wanted to post this for all those that are about to have the surgery. I feel great! I went into this with the most positie attitude and pushed all scary thoughts aside.
Im wishing the rest of my sleeve sisters a speedy recovery and positive attitude.

Congrats! to both you and Claudia! I just got sleeved on Tuesday and I too have the discomfort in my throat but reading through all the posts I was expecting some discomfort so I am taking this all in stride! I am happy it's finally over and the fears are now a memory hahahaha
