Sleeved and home

I was sleeved on Monday home late afternoon wed and really feeling good today, just a little sore ness. I've had 2 days of clear liquids and now 5days of clear liquids and then mushy food. Seems fast compared to other peoples posts. Big question is how long does the swelling last?

congratulations and welcome home!  i didn't have much swelling so can't really say about that... i am 2 weeks and 1 day out and would love mushy food!  have to wait 6 more days for it!  are you tolerating everything well? 

YEAH!!!! Glad its over and you are on your way to your brand new LIFE!!! You deserve it!! Its worth a little discomfort eh?

 HI I had asked the same question I was sleeved on Tuesday but I am still and will be on liquids for another 4 weeks that's what my NUT told me. However, someone answered my post and said 14 was the magic number 14 days and you will be feeling much better with the swelling and gas :) so here I am day 3 and 11 more to go hahahahaha Hope this helps you

Welcome home and congratulations on being sleeved!!!  I am happy you are doing so well!  The swelling takes time, everyone is different, but a week to a few weeks is norm.

I was sleeved on Tuesday & still feel the discomfort. Soreness & gas, ooo I can't stand it!! 
I have to be on liquids for about 3 weeks. I'm tolerating it well, but can't wait until mushy stage. lol
