I was able to tolerate cambell's tomato bisque soup.  I was already taking previcid.  I added protein powder, oregano and basil.

Thanks!  l've been on Prilosec otc since surgery.  l'm just not liking many things lately, and thought that might be a great change of pace...

l don't have any unflavored protein powder yet, so l thought the Greek would add some good quality protein and flavor.  The spices would be a nice touch.

I had a whole box of Tomato and Roasted Red Pepper soup over my 2 weeks of full liquids, forget the brand.  I didn't have any trouble with it, but I have heard some people do.  I don't really have any reflux issues.

I diluted it 50:50 with Kitchen Basics vegetable broth, and added unflavored protein powder and a little Greek yogurt.  Couldn't do a lot of sweet shakes, so I ate this and the Unjury chicken soup most days.

Very little has ever bothered my sleeve (just dry chicken at beginning of solids - that was not great).

I had tomato soup over my full liquid stage as well.  I added a creamy swiss laughing cow cheese to it and let that melt into for some protein, it was delicious!  Honestly if i didn't feel like i was cheating I would probably eat that for dinner tonight, we are having some gross icky rain weather here... perfect day for it!

If you have acid reflux, the tomato soup may be too acidic for you. Try a small amount and see if it bothers you.

l don't have any acid reflux issues. lt's just that my surgeon puts everyone on acid reducers every twelve hours from the get-go until 6-12 months.   l just know that tomatoes are acidic.   But l will definitely start small (tomorrow;) and see how it goes. Thanks!!

If sweet is getting boring- it did for me- Try cream of potato add mccormack garlic and onion spinkle and salt and pepper and protein powder- even some finely shredded cheddar if you are up for it.  That was my favorite full liquid.  I was really craving a baked potato and that worked for me.
