Tomato soup was my BFF during the full liquid stage, id mix in a small amount of greek yogurt a sprinkle of cheddar cheese.. it was yummy, now that im on "normal" food i break up a corn taco shell in to small chunks and add maybe a half tsp of that, the yogurt, cheese, its so fricken yummy!! almost like a taco.
LOVING life as a LOSER!!

My nutritionist told me tomato soup was fine.  She said to get the healthy request kind.  I am three days out and had some today and had no problems with it.  I only had a small amount but was able to get it down no problem by taking small spoon fulls.

sort of off topic...but when i craved "flavor" at first...

i made spicy red beans with andouille sausage and tasso and rice (from south louisiana here...it's a staple lol) and would just eat the broth part of the red beans.

also made taco soup (canned kidney beans, canned corn, taco seasoning, canned diced tomatoes, rotel, cheese, sour cream, guacamole, chives, and fritos) and drank just the juice part with "sour cream" aka greek yogurt mixed in. those two things helped me.

*i also take a protonix xr everyday...so acidic foods do not bother me*

What wonderful ideas!! Thank you so much!!

So what l had ended up doing for lunch today was this :

l took 2 oz of tomato soup and almost equal low-fat milk, warmed it up with basil, parmesan&garlic popcorn season (no cal, no fat, no carb), a touch of salt and spenda, melted a round of cheddar laughin cow/baby bel., and then added a giant dollop of Greek yogurt.  OMG!!! Best thing l've had in weeks!!!  l then made a big batch for dinner for my family and served it over cheese tortellini for them.  What a hit!!

Thanks everyone for the input!!!
